Short story collection from African authors - new and emerging voices!

It's hard to get a sense of an entire collection of short stories when the first impression only includes one story from one author and the first few pages of a second story by a different author, however, I found the Introduction compelling. The Makuna Press is publishing 12 stories from African writers (already a huge and rich diaspora), and half the authors have not been previously published. I believe reading gives you insight into other perspectives and I think this collection helps to put forth voices that aren't as easily found in mainstream American book circles. Looking forward to seeing more from these authors!
