I've been reading more short fiction lately so I was excited for this. It doesn't feel quite done yet - there are some clumsy word choices, a few grammatical errors, etc. I wasn't really hooked by the story and a half presented here, either. I do appreciate the need for more diverse voices in literature, and hope others enjoy the story collection.
