Beautifully written with very descriptive scenery. Wilbur Smith brings historical adventure and bygone landscapes to life with his writing and this new series looks to be just as exciting as his others. I love that he has gone to ancient Egypt to delve into tales that take place in the Land of the Pharaohs.
