Excited than disappointed. The initial preview was interesting. However the book actually started with a prologue which almost 1/2 of the way into the book did not seem to clearly tie in with the story.
The overall Premise is good. I’ve read many mysteries as it is one of my favorite genres. So I love a good twist but as I delved into the book I became more confused. It became unclear as to exactly who was who and who they represented. The characters primary names we are often not clear when they used an alias.
The descriptions of the characters and the environment were very clear. I could picture in my mind many of the scenes as well as the people who were portrayed.
So the premise of the story was good, and the characters well defined. However the overall plot in which character was playing which role became muddied. Chapters seem to jump without warning or any clarification as to what the setting was.
Overall it was readable but not a page turner
