I wasn't sure how I would feel about this book after the prologue. I'm not one who often reads spy novels and the prologue seemed complicated and stuffy. Wow, I could not have been more wrong. This book was brilliant! Evan is a female spy trying to solve a case that keeps triggering memories that she can't quite place. There is a shadow in her mind that is blocking her from figuring out how everything fits together, but she knows it ties in to someplace she has been in the past.
This book is so action packed, exciting, and chilling. The ending is well done while leaving room for a sequel. Evan is an incredible agent and the world of espionage and politics, the drama in Washington and Russia, leave you on the edge of your seat!
