Love the name Tallulah. This young lady is so fiesty and I rooted for her the whole book. Loved her nickname Lulie, too. I love a good Southern novel and this one is no exception. Full of family secrets, politics, the Civil Rights movement, Vietnam War, leaving home, returning home and so much more. The setting, characters, plot, everything is done perfectly. Healing within a family is so important. Great focus. Tallulah James is the perfect Southern woman heroine, she is determined to be successful wherever she is and whatever she is doing.
