Probably not a bad read, but something tells me I won't be buying this one. It seemed in the first couple of chapters to be an exhausting amount of drama set in the New Orleans area. The book starts in the present when Walden is charged with murder and his sister from San Francisco returns to find him legal representation.
When she immediately runs into the boy, now man, she had a mad crush on back in her teens, the writing on the wall made me feel this type of story line has happened too many times before to be different this time. I may be wrong and if so, it might turn out to be a good story.
