The rich southern world that the author describes is a perfect backdrop to this family drama. While Tallulah's homecoming and the mystery of what's happened to her family drew me in, it was the next chapter that jumps back in time that made me really want to see where this story goes. Can't wait to see how each member of this family is developed and how the different historical events of the time play a role in the story.
