I really enjoyed what they gave me to read! I did have this through Net Galley but never got to read it! What a scary feeling it would be going to the unknown and then have to get on a ship wondering if I'm going to drown before I get there! Everyone related or not they were family in more ways than one! Excited,excitement on learning new things,seeing new things and basically they are starting all over! This family the friends you feel the emotions and the characters you get to know so well! The history is so direct and well researched for this time of period so long ago when there were hardly any records to go by,mostly word of mouth and stories handed down. You feel for the Indian when they see these people come to their world and want to take over their way of life! This new place they can practice their religion and try to spread the word.
