as someone who has been finding my love for history the past year, I was excited for this one. It interesting to see and learn historical things in books, that being said, no not everything historical mentioned in books is always fact, or accurate to the time period.
I enjoy this read, and plan on reading more of the series! Mary Chapman is a separatist boards the speedwell, while William, a carpenter boards the mayflower, both heading to the new world for a new life, and different reasons. The way to the new world, and life upon landing is tough and testing their faith. many fall to illness... or in love as for Mary and William.
I did miss the mark slightly for me, but I'm still interested and hoping it only gets better from here.
