The Maidens was definitely one of my highest and most anticipated releases of the year. After reading The Silent Patient, I instantly knew I wanted to read more from Alex Michaelides.
In this story we follow these characters at a university, which is one of my favorite settings in a book.
I was so excited when the publisher reached out and sent me an ARC. Celadon was so kind to send me one and one for a Little Free Library.
Although I didn’t enjoy this one as much as his other book, I still really liked this one. There definitely were some great plot twists that I really enjoyed.
I also really liked every moment, especially that ending. I felt so happy when I finished this because it was one I really wanted to read, but I also felt sad because I didn’t want it to end.
I really love how Alex portrays mythology in his stories. Absolutely loved this!!
