This book is amazing! Ever since I read the synopsis, I'm interested in reading this book. I've read The Silent Patient by this author before, and this author is such an perfect mystery/thriller author. This author's writing style is intriguing and amazing.
This first chapter is already intriguing to read, and I feel like I got sucked in the story. It's rare that a book can make me feel that way, and it's just a chapter. This book is my most anticipated summer thriller read, and it did not dissapoint! Ever since The Silent Patient and The Maidens, I think it's way more than enough to proof that Alex Michaelides is an auto-buy author. I've seen mixed reviews about this one, most people said that this is a let down for them. But seriously, this book is a pure gem. Read this book and I guarantee you 100% that you will never regret picking this one up!
