A psychological thriller I finished in one sitting

I really liked the Silent Patient, so I was really excited for this one. I feel a little bit let down though, though I love psychological thrillers. From the first chapter of this book, I knew Edward Fosca couldn’t be the murderer because that would be way too obvious and anti-climactic. The reveal of the killer was completely random - I felt like there were no clues or hints or anything leading up to the revelation that Zoe was orchestrating this entire thing. I was suspecting Elsie for a bit and then Fred, and I could tell it was Zoe a few pages before it was revealed. Although I was surprised about Sebastian's involvement - I feel like that was a good revelation. That being said, I did read the entirety of this book in just one sitting, and it was definitely a page turner for me. I also loved the connections with the Silent Patient and seeing Theo mentioned again was awesome. I did expect more from Alex Michaelides, but I would recommend this book to others.
