Michaelides has a brilliant mind as an author to create what he’s done here in the pages of The Maiden.
I mean seriously he has a profound gift for telling a story that you immediately can’t put down. Because trust me, I tried to and that resulted in me reading it until I finished it. This book is told in 6 parts and as each part progresses, you still will never suspect what becomes revealed.
I literally got the chills in who was revealed in part three because I totally didn’t see that coming. After that, I really saw how good of an author Michaelides was to have been able to include what he did, unexpectedly as he did.
I couldn’t wait to read this one I arrived and I strongly recommend reading your copy if you already have one because it’s a book that doesn’t deserve to be waiting on. It was that good - what a fantastic book in rendition to his first novel.
