I'm probably the minority of opinion, but I didn't particularly care for this excerpt. The book cover didn't impress me as some of the other covers and what was provided in the way of an excerpt didn't grab me. There's the cliffhanger, which I suppose is meant for the reader to want more, but it didn't do that for me.
