I'm not a big Thriller reader, but Alex Michaelides hooked me with these first few chapters! This proves you don't have to be a Thriller junkie to get hooked by one. I want to follow Mariana through this gruesome story and see what happened to Sebastian. Was it indeed, Edward? Or is the narrator unreliable?
