This book had me hooked right from the prelude. I love the style of Alex Michaelides. It just flows and draws the reader in. The first few chapters introduced us to two intriguing characters; Mariana and Henry. Mariana is a troubled psychologist who suffers from the loss if a loved one. Despite the fact that she is teetering in the edge if depression, she runs a group therapy session. This is where we are introduced to Henry, one of the patients in the group session. Henry is difficult to deal with and perturbs the other members of the group, but Mariana seems to have a soft spot for him, even though he is stalking her. After an encounter with Henry, Mariana gets a call from Zoe. Something’s wrong. I need to know what!
