First, the moment I saw this book I was stoked. I had read the Silent patient and love it so much and I hope that this book lives up to the expectation I have of this author. Just from the small bit of the book that I have read, I understand why this author is such a big hit. This book starts of grabbing the reader's attention and jumps right into the heart of it... murder. I also love the writing style of this author and how just like with his other book he adds a bit of himself into it with the greek mythology. I am so glad I was able to claim a copy and can't wait to read it. I have to admit, not my favorite cover ever but I like that it is simple, and yes I see that blood so hopefully the story will tie the cover in more with the plot.
