I knew I would love the character of Mariana after just reading the prologue. She's a determined, intelligent woman who immediately piqued my interest in the book. She's absolutely certain Edward Fosca committed murder, but did he? and what about those Maidens...hmmm. The book is well written twisty, page-turner that I'd love to read and review.
