This story (stories) grabbed me from the get go. The characters are compelling and I connected with each one and cared about what happened to them. I cheered them on and my have even shouted at them a time or two.

Each scene felt like a movie playing in my head. They were clear and felt so authentic.
I think this is probably the first story I've read involving secret agents - and definitely the first with female agents. I don't normally "get into" spy novels, but this one has a strong pull. The history is so captivating and the time period is unique.
I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical fiction.
