I love historical fiction, especially books about WWII, so I was super excited to receive an ARC of The Lost Girls of Paris. However...I have mixed feelings about it. The premise of the story was fascinating, but I wish it was more about the girls and less about Grace. I feel like it could have been introduced with Grace finding the suitcase, and then go into the story about the girls and Eleanor, and end with Grace...and leave out all Grace chapters in the middle! I thought it was unrealistic that she would have access to research Eleanor and the girls and find out all she did in that short amount of time. I was so intrigued by Marie and Josie and the rest of the girls, and I wanted MORE! I wanted more about Vesper and Will, and the love story between Marie and Vesper. It seemed like one minute they just met and the next they fell in love. HOW? Give me the juicy details! I wanted to know more about Tess and how Marie reunited with her, and what happened after the war too. I read the last third of the book in one sitting - I wanted to find out what happened, who betrayed them...the ending was much faster paced and exciting than the beginning. Overall, I really did enjoy the book, and I plan on researching the true events that inspired this story! Fascinating!

**Note to add that I hope the editors go over this book carefully before it is released. There are TONS of errors. Punctuation, grammar, spelling, and inconsistencies with plot and characters. I know this is an ARC so I tried to
ignore them, but I pray that they are corrected before release!
