I have heard so many good things about this author, Pam Jenoff. All of her previous books are on my to be read list. I’m ecstatic that I was finally able to get a hold of this one. Perfect for a first read of this author. It kept my interest and I really enjoyed the characters. I felt for Eleanor and Marie. I adored Grace! There was one spot I felt like the story was rushed, but it didn’t take away from the story line or the over all effect.
My favorite genre to read is historical fiction. Grace Healey, who is the main character is the epitome of a girl from the 40's. She lost her husband during the war, she is in New York and she is adventurous. She has set her mind to finding about the girls in the pictures that she finds at the prominent Grand Central Station. The set up alone of this novel is so intriguing. I can not wait to read more from Pam.
