Fantastic historical fiction, and a mystery as well.
What I love about this story is how it is told in multiple view points, and how the story develops.
Grace's story, of finding photos of the women agents and works to find their stories and the stories of the agents.
And the story set in war time, as the women are pulled in to be agents in WWII and their fates. and in the end the sweeping under the rug of their stories, never to be told.
The picture painted by Pam Jenoff of the conditons surrounding the war are as vivid as if you watched it on a screen. The story moves forward at a pace that keeps you wanting more. And there is so much heart on these pages. You couldn't help but root for the characters, and feel their pain and trials too.
