I ended this book at 1:45 am and wanted to immediately start looking into the historical accuracy! I was able to restrain myself long enough to get some sleep. :) This book claims to be inspired by true events and I will be doing some research on my own to see just how much is accurate. The book vacillates chapters between three women during and just after World War II. Eleanor, the creator and director of a group of English women who are dropped into Nazi-occupied France to help the Resistance prepare for D-Day, Marie, one of the women sent, and Grace, a war widow who finds a packet of photographs shortly after the war. The story includes history, intrigue, romance, adventure and is very intense. Highly recommended!
