I went into this book with really high expectations and was not impressed at all. I listened to the audiobook and had a really hard time understanding the narrator of the book. I didn’t like the characters in the book. The timelines were really close together so it made it really hard to follow the story I kept getting confused as to who was who. I don’t know, I had such high expectations for this book because I love books about women in World War II. I thought this would be something very different than what it was and I only gave this book 2 stars. By the end of the book I really didn’t care what happened and I actually skipped some chapters so I could finish the book and unhaul it. I understand I’m in the minority here.
