The Lost Girls of Paris by Pam Jenoff is set during and just after WWII. The description of the setting, time, place, etc. has the reader getting lost in the world of the book, and that's a great thing for the historical fiction genre.

There's so much fiction set during World War Two that sometimes the storie seem repetitive. I think this one will be different simply because there are not as many stories about spies. Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein is another World War Two spy novel that was fantastic.

This would be a great book club or study club title because there will be lots of things to discuss (history, characters, setting, etc.) and if someone in the group does some research to find true stories of the spies, that would add to the conversation.
