What a wonderful story. The cover picture, without reading the synopsis depicts a historical fiction or time travel sort of story. I love how the clock is enhanced as if it were trying to state that time is of essence.
The story begins in 1946, New York, where we meet Grace who is walking to work but has to cut through Grand Central due to an accident. There she find an abandoned suitcase that she tripped over. In trying to find any clue of who its owner could be, she comes across pictures wrapped in lace of 12 women dressed in a uniform. She is intrigued but finds herself running late for work and tucks the photos in her purse. Curiosity gets the best of her to find out who these ladies are and she embarks on a mission to find out with the help of a friend.
