Spies, feminism, and historical fiction!
When reading the excerpt from this book, I found that I like that it is told from multiple perspectives. I gathered that there will be several women telling the story, considering it is about women being recruited for the war effort against Nazi Germany. The idea of an entirely female operative group is exciting and interesting, especially for historical fiction lovers.
I liked that the story began to unfold right off the bat and I think there is a lot of potential for this book to be amazing. I liked Eleanor's character a lot when the chapter was from her perspective but I quickly grew to dislike her in the chapter from Marie's perspective. I'd be curious to see how the character development works out in this book. I hope I get to read the rest of it!
