I've always held off on reading a Pam Jenoff book because most of them are surrounded by romance and love stories. This one sounds like that's a side portion of the story and instead, the real story is how women were able to serve during WWII and how they kicked butt while doing it!
Grace seems like so many young American women who lived in new york at the time. She's lost and lonely and is trying to mend her broken heart. I love that she found this mysterious suitcase and I must know how and why it got to New York when it was supposed to be in France I'm guessing?!
Eleanor seems like a fascinating woman who was given a large amount of power in a time when women were usually pushed to the side as just secretaries forever. I can't wait to see how she evolves throughout the story.
Marie seems like a very sweet and loving mother who was just trying to bide time until the war was over and she could be reunited with her daughter when she was given the chance of a lifetime.

I've already added this book to my tbr because of how excited I am about this one now.
