I greatly enjoyed the pace in the first pages of this novel. This fantasy does a good job of starting off both with action and excitement while giving the reader enough information to understand what is going on without slowing the down the story. I am intrigued in the world and can't wait to learn more. I am really appreciating the descriptive language and how characters are being described and fleshed out. I would be very interested in reading more.
