Don't get me wrong, I like zombie films and television series but honestly - reading about it takes it to an entirely different level. From the very beginning the authors can make a seemingly bland character jump right off the page with the correct atmosphere. They also put our modern societal habits under a microscope - and it really is refreshing to know I'm not the only one that feels that for all of our technology it's more of a curse. This book promises to keep your heart rate well above a resting rate while you read it, I've been searching for a book that makes it feel like it drops you in as an offering. I am not sure if it was a mistake that the excerpt jumped from page 20 to 306 but that kind of ruined the experience a little bit even though the book sounds fantastic.
