I don't typically enjoy zombie movies, so I was not anticipating that I would enjoy this novel. I found the first chapter to be somewhat dull, and even though I liked the second chapter in the sample better, it still did not engage me. This is by no fault of the authors; I just do not think I am in the target audience for this book.
