So about halfway through the excerpt, it jumps from page 20 to page 305. I stopped reading because I hate reading spoilers or reading ahead.
From what I did read, though, it was honestly difficult to tell exactly what the book was about. The title and cover give off zombie vibes, but the excerpt given doesn't really give much insight into that.
