Thank you Bookish First and Celadon Books for my winning ARC copy!

The first book I've read by Jean Hanff Korelitz and I really enjoyed it! This book is quite long and complex, but extremely well-written. It is divided into three parts: The Parents, The Triplets, and The Latecomer. The Oppenheimer family are a very dysfunctional family and Jean Hanff Korelitz developed each one of them so well. She also touched on many different topics in this book: privilege and race, traditions and religion, grief and guilt, and family dynamics. I thought it was clever how she wrote about how each one of the triplets desperately wanted to escape one another. Usually triplets want to stick together or form some sort of inseparable bond. However, this is not the case with the Oppenheimer triplets.
The ending was delightfully satisfying.
Even though there are some mixed reviews out there --- I highly recommend reading The Latecomer!
