Oh well, here we have an except that begins at Chapter 5? Why though? If the first 4 chapters read anything like this First Look, then I think I know why. I don't think exclamation points make a story exciting. Then why are there so many parenthetical expressions? These halt the story so much, coming across as super annoying. I was not interested in this book at all and found it daunting to read. This is not for me.
