After reading the preview of the novel, I thought this story was just okay. I think the author did a good job writing some interesting characters with a lot of depth, but I just do not generally go for novels like this one. The synopsis of the novel itself sounded slightly intriguing, and I like that this novel distinguishes itself from other family dramas based on some aspects of the plot, including how the arrival of a "latecomer" (a sibling born many years after the other siblings' births) into a family impacts the lives of each member of the family. The cover is also thought provoking as well.
