After reading the synopsis of The Latecomer, I feel like I need to go into this weekend with a copy of the book - I am totally intrigued! The plot sounds unique in that I can't recall a book I've read that incorporate adding a child into the mix (later in life) to possibly save the family. I am curious to see how this will all play out.
It also sounds like the author will tackle many heavy themes in the book and I am curious to see how it will tie together. Family dramas are my most favorite genre As someone who enjoyed Jean Hanff Korelitz's The Plot, The Latecomer is high on my priority list.
