This is going to be a difficult one to review as I was unable to finish this book.
I was initially very excited to read this story based solely on the premise. I have since then come to realize that books that take place on the open waters are not my cup of tea.
I didn't connect with Poe Blythe. Not because of the authors writing, but because of my personal reading preferences. I have given this book a 3 star rating for good writing.
I did skim through the book after reading the first few chapters and then proceeded to skip to the end and read the last chapter. Only for my lack of interest did I feel that I did not miss much plot.
I never read the authors previous books and I'm unsure if I'll want to based on this one.
