This book was a good ya dystopian novel. I really enjoyed the journey the main character Poe goes on in this book! Her character starts out as a shell of a person riddled with grief from the loss of her boyfriend. She wants revenge on the people who took him from her and doesn't care about much else other than her ship. When the same people who killed her boyfriend try to take the ship she is captain of now, she knows she needs to fight back. She slowly discovers theres more going on here and the people who she thought were her enemies might not be the bad guys after all. She needs to decide who she can trust and which side to take. Poe comes back to life as she discovers her purpose and where she belongs on this journey!
