Exciting new dystopian!

I was already excited for this new release, but after reading the sample I can’t wait to get my hands on this book! The fantasy genre is definitely my favorite subset in YA fiction, so I’m super excited to continue this story. While this story might have a similar feel to other fantasy novels (it sort of reminds me of Song of the Current?), the premise sounds interesting and unique. In all honesty, I wasn’t a fan of Condie’a Matched trilogy and was initially unsure about this story, but the Goodreads reviews, synopsis, and excerpt have encouraged me to give it a shot. The theme of grief and learning to cope with it seems to be very well exectuted. Poe appears to be an extremely relatable character and I’m eager to see how she grows and develops throughout the story.
