I enjoyed Condie's Matched trilogy, and this is another take on a dystopian world through the eyes of a teenager. Poe is a grieving, angry young woman who is seeking revenge for her boyfriend's death. Her anger clouds her ability to see the bigger picture, and the novel is meant to be a journey from blind rage to something else. I don't know what the something else is - acceptance? Purpose?

I'm assuming this is the first of a trilogy - I hope it is. Poe is not easy to like, and I hope Condie continues the story so that Poe can become a more interesting character, and so that the reader can explore the world the author created. It has potential, and Poe has potential, and I'm willing to keep following her on her voyage.
