I'm not the biggest fan of fantasy and I'm not totally sure if this is a fantasy but it reads like one and I don't like that. It feels like lately in fantasy the trend is to write strong female protagonists and they don't really come off as strong to me. Not to say I don't like strong female protagonists because I do! But it seems like fantasy writers have this idea of what a strong female is and it differs from mind greatly.
