Wasn't for Me
This book just wasn't for me. I found the constant pop culture references very distracting. And Ivy's and Autumn's inner dialogues seemed a little forced.
But there were things about this book I did enjoy and I would prefer to focus on that.
Ivy's character growth is very rewarding to watch. Her friendships are so positive and rewarding. Watching her stand up for herself and her friends be there for her was very wholesome.
Autumn's reveal of what leads to her choices and decisions is bittersweet. Her realizations are upsetting, but there's a certain amount of pride in her taking those steps.
The ending was a solid twist as well. Not too predictable but also not too random as not to be believable.
