The sisters used to be close, but after their mom died, they’ve drifted apart, barely acknowledging one another even at home. Autumn is always very cautious during all of her deals, but she lets her guard down for an offer that seems too good to be true – and it is. Once she doesn’t come home, Ivy knows something is wrong, and she searches for what happened to her sister, though everyone just assumes Autumn will come home on her own. The further you read into the book, you realize that Autumn’s time is running out, and if Ivy doesn’t figure out what happened soon, Autumn could be gone forever.
