Important Book with Hard Themes

This was an excellent YA book told from the varying perspectives of two teenage girls who are sisters and very different. When one sister finds herself in trouble, the other desperately tries to find her and help her and in the process finds out a lot about herself and her relationship with her sister. This is a really important book about what happens when we don’t listen to our children when they say something is wrong and the irreparable damage that this can cause especially when tied to instances of sexual abuse/assault. The writing was so convincing as though it were truly written by two girls in high school. I was immediately sucked into this book and did not want to put it down because I had to know what would happen to Autumn and Ivy. It’s a hard book to read, but very important.
