This book is being marketed as Young Adult Fiction and I am a 50 year old woman so as I read the book I kept this in mind. The plot is relatively simple. One wild and crazy sister (Autumn) goes missing and the "good" sister (Ivy) is looking for her. However, as you read the book, the details of their family history start to come to light. Their family, like many families, are struggling to deal with some very serious issues such as death of a parent, the blending of two families under one roof, and sexual assault. It is told from the teenagers perspective and the emotions expressed are probably best understood by teen readers. I would have enjoyed the novel more if it was written from the father's perspective since I am an adult also. Overall, a good story with a well written conclusion. It even provided some plot twists and surprises towards the end. Definitely worth a look for teen readers.
