Wow, the first paragraph immediately grabs my attention! The writing is pretty typical YA, and I mean that in a positive way: easy to read, faster paced, a bit of humor, right to the point of the story. Exactly what I like. The cops opening up Autumn's box of tampons? OMG! Autumn immediately interests me as a character, with her sarcastic humor and inner commentary. Icy is much more relatable for me, being a part of the Nerd Herd and goody-goody, though Autumn's section was more readable. I definitely want to keep reading!
