I can crochet and have always wanted to learn how to knit, I just think knit things look "classier" than Crochet. But it has always been intimidating to me. So when this came available I decided to go for it.
It is exactly what I need. I have little patience with long descriptions and directions and this "reference book" of sorts is just what I needed. The instructions are clear and concise and it is laid out well. I can imagine being able to just go quickly to the page I need and getting the instructions I want.
I bought my first knitting needles the other day, now that I have perused the book fully, and and looking forward to some time to myself this weekend to try my hand at knitting.
