I was fascinated, intrigued, and nerdily excited that I won this book through BookishFirst. My first impression was spot on - I love this is in a very nerdy way. Which, quite frankly, is the perfect nerdy to be. I never knew how to knit and was always fascinated that the strong women in my family could knit these incredible woven pieces. I couldn't tell a needle stitch from one to the next to even if my life depended on it. I can't say that I've become an expert knitter but I can say confidently say that I know how to pick this book up and use it as a reference if I'm ever asked. I haven't had as much time as I'd like to use all the lessons that lay within it's pages but I can guarantee that at some point this is my go to and that I will!
