I initially purchased this for myself because I wanted to get into knitting. And sometimes you just need to realize that a hobby is not for you. Which is perfectly okay. So, my next move was to gift to someone I knew would find value in it.
I re-gifted to my sister-in-law who is a wizard with knitting and crocheting. She LOVES this book. I gave her about a month before I asked her for her opinion. She stated that it was very helpful and has a lot of knowledge for an experience level.
And at that point I laughed, but was only confirmed that knitting is not for me.
It is a short book, but not overwhelming. It helps the reader/crafter gain comprehension in terminology and how-to.
I think this would make a great edition to anyone who loves to knit. Or anyone who has an interest. Perhaps they have a better chance than I did. Pack it with some yarn and it makes a wonderful add on.
